What it is

A free set of area calculators for rectangles, circles, triangles and other shapes. Use it for schoolwork, projects or trade estimates at no cost.

Accuracy

The formulas are standard geometry and we take care with them, but we can't promise a result fits your exact job. For anything you will buy materials or bill against, measure carefully and check the figure before you rely on it.

Fair use

Everyday use has no limits. Please don't pound the site with bots, copy it wholesale, overload it, or use it unlawfully, so it stays quick for the next person.

Ownership

The layout, the code and the text belong to us. The plain formulas, that a rectangle's area is length times width, belong to everyone and you may quote them. What we ask is that you not clone the entire site and pass it off as yours.

We link to references. Follow one and you land on a separate site governed by its own terms and privacy rules, not these.

Availability and liability

We provide the site as it stands and as it happens to be up, and features may be altered or paused without notice. To the extent the law allows there are no warranties, and we aren't liable for losses from using it or from downtime.
